Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) would like to invite you to provide a quote for

The Provision of: Management of GM Culture small grants programme - Inspire.

This strand of investment will be in support of the freelance workforce as well as independent and smaller organisations across GM with a special focus on seeding projects, diversifying opportunities, the creation of new work and springboard ideas, and supporting unique proposals that might not be supported by other funding streams.

INSPIRE - A small grants programme to support individual practitioners, freelancers.
and grass roots and community organisations, building on the success of GMCA's.
cultural 'covid commissions' project. This will ensure that talent is supported and
developed across the city region. Awards will be between £500 and £2,000 p/a.

GMCA wishes to procure a partner to deliver this programme. Grants will be given across
several thematic areas to ensure the total grant programme supports delivery of
strategic aims. There will light-touch application process to ensure equality of
opportunity and funding decisions will be made by panels that include local and
artform representation. There will be a bidding round every three months [currently six months]. Costs for
the delivery partner will be included within the allocated sum.
