Description

You are invited to submit your proposals and tender for the design and build of the new extension and associated works at Hucknall East Midlands Ambulance Station for the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS).

The works comprise of constructing a new single storey extension to the North-East elevation comprising of a gymnasium, fire kit room, classroom, server room and service cupboard. The existing building will also be altered to create a breathing apparatus (BA) Room and watch office providing access into the existing building.

In addition to the works described above, the following are also to be included within this contract and your tender.

o Drainage works
o Civil engineering / highway works
o Soft & hard landscaping

It is critical that the existing ambulance station remains operational at all times. The successful contractor will be required to ensure that appropriate services provisions, access and egress routes are maintained and remain available throughout all phases of the project.
