Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 04 July 2019 for the following reason: Following clarification questions raised the Authority updated the tender documents and reissued, all old versions being used should be deleted and substituted for the new version on the DCO.

The Authority asks that tenderer's note there now two defined periods of activity in Jan and Jul of each year to coincidence with the 6 month and 12 month inspections, the Authority has for tender evaluation purposes mandated the hours required, tenderer's should submit firm prices against those hours only for tender assessment.

The contract close date has been amended to the 9 Aug 19 to reflect the changes in the tender process and additional information required.(HMS Sultan has a requirement for all of its lifting equipment identified in the schedule of requirements within the supporting documents of this advert to be inspected and certified on a rolling programme over the next 4 years. The equipment ranges from lifting slings to trolley jacks and pallet trucks, the equipment is required to be certified by a competent authority at regular intervals throughout its use. The contract will be for that authority to carry out the certification process of the equipment as detailed in the schedule of requirements and statement of requirements attached in the supporting documentation.
