Description

Tenders are invited for the supply of: Glass Reinforced Plastic Canopies
For the period 1st April 2022 - 31st March 2026
Estimated spend is estimated to be between £24,000 and £34,000 for the duration of the contract. This figure is based on historical information and cannot be guaranteed.
Prices will remain fixed for the first 24 months of the contract. A price increase will then be added of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) average for the previous 12 months for the third year of the contract and repeated for the fourth year of the contract.

It is a reactive contract and canopies are to be delivered carriage paid to our Stores based in Oldbury, which operates a JIT system.

Deliveries are accepted 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 2.30pm on Fridays in the goods inwards department of the stores.

Purchase orders are generated automatically and sent via email to the address that the successful company nominates, once stock levels dictate. Once an order is placed it must be delivered within 48 hours. This is a supply only fitting is carried out by our in house repairs teams. Due to this system we will not be able to order in bulk and any minimum or delivery charges should be included in the price quoted.

It is the Tenderers responsibility to ensure that all products to be delivered to Sandwell MBC are individually bar coded. Where bulk items are being delivered a bar code must be supplied on the delivery paperwork so that the items can be receipted into stores. Failure to comply will result in us being unable to receipt items.
