Description

Kingston upon Hull City Council (the Authority) invites qualified and interested suppliers to tender for a Monitoring & Moderation Services contract. The Authority is conducting the procurement using the open Non EU procedure, as required by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (PCR 2015). Pupils in primary schools undertake National Curriculum assessments. The Local Authority has a statutory duty to monitor assessments and to moderate a proportion of these assessments in order to confirm that the teacher assessment judgements are accurate and consistent with national standard. The Authority's statutory monitoring duties extend to Year 1 Phonics, end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teacher Assessments, and the Authority needs a supplier to deliver these statutory services. The Authority proposes to enter into Contract for a period of 2 years with the successful Tenderer (Service Provider), with an option to extend for a period or periods of up to a maximum of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to budget clarification and satisfactory performance. The anticipated service commencement date is 1 September 2019. The anticipated budget available for the duration of this contract will be no higher than £25,000.00 per annum. A more detailed breakdown is within the tender specification.
