Description

Defra are seeking an impact finance model and outline business case which could:
• Crowd-in additional private investment in natural capital protection and enhancement.
• Provide capacity building support / technical assistance to projects that would have environmental impact and generate revenue - to stimulate a pipeline of such projects.
• Provide below-market-rate and/or patient repayable finance for project implementation costs.
• Help to further prove the concept and develop a track record of projects that can generate revenue through improving the natural environment.
