Description
National Museums Liverpool (NML) is seeking to appoint a supplier to supply, deliver and install gallery lighting and accessories. The initial contract scope is to finalise the design of the lighting scheme, supply, deliver and install a suite of luminaires and accessories for 4 new Renaissance Rediscovered galleries at the Walker Art Gallery; and over the potential period of contract may be extended to additional NML venues.
Tenderers are advised that our gallery venues have recently invested in a range of lighting systems and in order to maintain interoperability, luminaires offered by tenderers must fit with existing Euro lighting tracks and be compatible with the existing Dali system. Accordingly, we are seeking to procure Erco 'Eclipse In Track', or equivalent, 60mm luminaires with appropriate framing heads, lenses and filters.
The estimated contract value in respect of the initial contract scope (for Renaissance Rediscovered galleries at the Walker Art Gallery) is approximated to be £100,000 GBP excluding VAT, (or £120,000 GBP, including VAT). There is further scope to extend this contract annually, subject to funding and satisfactory contractual performance, until 31 December 2025. Subject to future requirements, NML may procure additional ranges and requirements as allowed for within the scope of this tender. The estimated total contract value including maximum possible extension options is therefore estimated to be up to £170,000 GBP excluding VAT, (or up to £204,000 GBP including VAT).
