Description
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) seeks consultancy services to develop a Fares and Payments Strategy informed by the consultant's technical advice and engagement with the public and local subject matter experts as outlined in the brief.
The scope of the subject to be explored will be wide; it will cover fares structures and pricing, payment technologies/options, travel tokens and validation, and a broad range of transport services - rail, light rail/tram, bus, demand responsive services (including Ring and Ride, West Midlands Bus on Demand, other community transport provision, taxis and lift sharing), shared services (including bike/scooter hire and car clubs) and broader services at interchanges/destinations such as parking (including park and ride) and EV charging.
