Description

Worcestershire Skills4Work Programme is funded by European Social Fund (ESF), managed by Skills Funding Agency, to address poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in Worcestershire to be delivered from 24th August 2018 to 31st March 2019.

Worcestershire County Council (WCC) have successfully secured funding to deliver Worcestershire Skills4Work programme to provide bespoke training and support to Adults who reside in Worcestershire and are aged 16 - 64, who are unemployed and those economically inactive and seeking a return to the labour market facing skills related barriers

The County Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers to deliver bespoke support and training that engages adults who are disadvantaged and economically inactive with activity that progresses them towards employment, education, apprenticeship and traineeship. The Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers with funding available from the European Social Fund.

Worcestershire County Council will have sub-contracting arrangements in place with successful Tenderers/Service Providers to deliver the programme across the County to provide a comprehensive range of support and training required under the Service Specification (Appendix 1) that provides solutions to remove employment barriers and education barriers.
