Description

The British Film Institute delivers a range of high-level cultural and cinema events on an annual basis including BFI London Film Festival, the UK's largest public film festival, which takes place annually each October. This year's festival dates are 6th - 17th October 2021 (12 days).

In 2020, the festival launched its new XR and Immersive strand, LFF Expanded. The BFI plans to construct a temporary immersive exhibition ,for the duration of the festival (12 days). The exhibition will showcase Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and live immersive performance works from the selected LFF Expanded Programme. The exhibition needs to be designed and executed to the highest standard and meet requirements of digitally and technologically innovative art forms.

Lot 1- XR and Immersive Art Exhibition Build
We will then require a supplier to design (in close collaboration with the XR and Immersive Programmer), build and fit-out the space to create an impactful and smoothly functioning exhibition for the festival.

Lot 2 - Technical Production and Management
In addition to the exhibition build, the BFI requires a supplier to manage the technical handling and supervision of the exhibition throughout the festival.

This tender is being advertised against Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
