Description
The Catapult requires a provider of economic research services to validate and expand on its approach to measuring economic impact of digital interventions within cities. Key economic indicators including but, not limited to: productivity impacts, GVA, BCR, efficiency and effectiveness.
The selected supplier will deliver the following:
- An assessment and scoring of existing International economic impact methods of ICT (November 2016).
- A critique of the Catapult's existing economic impact framework in the IOT/ICT (digitised world) (November 2016).
- Revised economic impact framework (based on recommendations from the above phase). (v.2.0) November 2016).
- Participation in 3 workshops to commence over the course of this engagement. (October 2016 / March 2017 / May 2017).
- Data integrity (grading) framework to be used alongside impact framework (December 2016).
- Minimum of 4 new economic models and 4 summary reports (April 2017).
- Revised economic impact framework (v.2.1) (May 2017).
- Repository of impacts (May 2017).
- Public facing white paper and/or academic journal publication on the impact of digitisation (new forms of measurement) (June 2017).
