Description

As part of a wider programme of work to improve the energy performance of owner occupier properties, as set out in the Clean Growth Strategy , and the Call for Evidence on 'Building a market for energy efficiency', BEIS is seeking to launch pilots to test approaches in five different geographic regions for increasing the rates of energy efficiency improvements in non-fuel poor homes particularly alongside renovation work, by providing support for local supply chain integration and project coordination. The funding awarded by BEIS would be used over three years to develop a sustainable model for driving retrofit in a local area, in particular, addressing the non-financial barriers to retrofit such as trust, hassle factor and lack of awareness
