Description

The Houses of Parliament requires a lead supplier or suppliers to manage the provision of a wide range of apprenticeships for roles across the Parliamentary Estate. The roles include but are not limited to Business Administration, Customer Service, Project Management, Catering, Finance and Management. The Authority expects to hold market engagement seminars in 3.2018. If you are interested in attending then please submit an expression of interest through In-Tend.
The Corporate Officer from the House of Commons and the Corporate Officer from the House of Lords (the Authority) requires a Lead Providers to manage and support several suppliers for the provision of a wide range of apprenticeships for roles across the Parliamentary Estate. This contract may be split into a number of lots covering but not limited to, the following areas:

- Business Administration Level 3,

- Customer Service Level 2,

- Associate Project Management Level 4,

- Catering: across various Standards levels 2 and 3 initially,

- Finance: levels various,

- Management at various levels.

The Authority intends to appoint a Lead supplier or suppliers - dependant on their overall service offer and training provision. The approximate annual Apprenticeship Levy is GBP 460 000. The Authority is interested to hear how degree apprenticeships could be introduced and utilised in addition to the aforementioned roles. We are also interested in hearing about how suppliers could meet the TBC requirements below in future if different business areas decide they want to proceed with them. These will not commence immediately, however information from suppliers on the feasibility of providing these courses in future will inform our approach to tendering. Other positions:

The contract may be for an initial period of 2 years. The Authority shall only appoint suppliers who can demonstrate that they have the ability to supply the services identified in the requirement, in the most economically advantageous way. The Authority expects to hold a market engagement seminar(s), therefore if you are interested in attending then please submit an expression of interest through In-tend by 28.2.2018, any further correspondence will be after this date. The Invitation to Tender document is expected to be published in the coming months but a precise timetable has not yet been confirmed.
