Description

Blackpool Council is seeking to commission a rail charter from a suitably experienced and capable operator who would be interested in working in partnership to make this project a success.

It is proposed that a one-off excursion focused on the Blackpool Air Show 2019 (10th/11th August) is commissioned as a pilot for a prospective programme for 2020 and ensuing years.

The Council believes that the resort offers a highly commercial proposition for rail excursion operators and would like to hear from operators who would be interested in delivering the pilot and developing further options for a rail charter programme.
