Description

This tender relates to delivery of children's centre services for the Bromyard area for in Herefordshire. The contract will be from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027, with the option to further extend up to March 2029. This contract will support the council to meet its statutory duties as set out in the Childcare Act 2006.

The service will work with partners to improve outcomes for families in the foundation years (0-5), so that every child can be given the best start in life, including early identification and support for vulnerable families through the Herefordshire Early Help approach:

i. deliver with partners the Herefordshire children centre core purpose in the Bromyard reach area, through a frontline delivery of integrated services for children 0-5 and their families in the most disadvantaged areas;4 levels of need
ii. support delivery of Local Authority set targets relating to Children's Centre services and improve outcomes for families;
iii. be aligned with the delivery model of children centre services across the rest of the county.

In Herefordshire, children's centre services operate as part of a strategic whole family and whole system approach, which supports families with different levels of need that may require universal, targeted, multi-agency or specialist/statutory support.
