Description
DVLA's Information Technology Service (ITS) require ongoing support of the Agency's Check Point Firewall Estate referenced in user centre 5887006, and wish to consider options for 1, 2 and 3 year support for the as-is estate.
This will allow us to understand the discounts brought about by a longer term contract, however due to the foreseeable economic challenges in the market brought about by COVID-19 and the delay it has caused in migrating off products, it may be more prudent to go for a shorter term agreement at this time.
Potential Suppliers should note the Agency does not commit to pay more than one year's pricing up front, and expects to pay annually in advance for each year of the contract
Licence renewals for Next Generation Threat Prevention (NGTP) IDS/IPS blade licensing provided by core Check Point firewalls are also included.
Potential suppliers must meet the following minimum criteria;
• ISO27001 IT Security management accreditation;
• Checkpoint Partner status of 3* or above.
All quotes must include the level of support / SLA's associated with the user centre 5887006 as a minimum; i.e. onsite support, 4 hour response 24/7 and include a Technical Account Manager (TAM).
ITS are considering the benefits of several Check Point support offerings and therefore require quotes for:
1. Premium Support, NGTP Subscription, Technical Account Manager (ATAM).
2. Premium Support with Diamond add on, NGTP Subscription, Technical Account Manager (ATAM).
ITS also require Check Point Professional Consultancy Services in the form of a call-off arrangement for up to 20 days per year.
Please note that whilst no new licences/support are required at this time, we want the scope of the contract to include the ability to purchase further licences/support at any time during the contract.
The support will cover the following items at DVLA:
• 2 x Smart-1 5050
• 4 x 23800 Appliances
• 1 x 5800 Appliance
• 12 x 15400 Appliances
