Description
Red Hat is a multinational software company and one of the major TfL's IT vendors, they provide Linux Operating Systems that covers the majority of the TfL Unix infrastructure, and a number of other middleware software used to provide TfL services. All services help Networks & Hosting to deliver and maintain TfL services internally and to our customers.
This renewal is for Red Hat licences for the Red Hat operating system physical and virtual machines. Specifically, we are obtaining quotes for the following:
a) esubs clients - Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation, Standard (420)
b) 18 licences of various Red Hat products (including four licences for the Revenue Collection Contract)
c) 3 Oracle Linux RAC servers - standard support licence
