Description
The Home Office is seeking to award grant funding to one or more non-statutory sector organisations in the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) working nationally to provide support to refugee women. The total available grant funding for the 2020/21 financial year will be £600,000.
Bidders for the funding must be able to demonstrate how they will spend their entire potential award by the end of the 2020/21 financial year. To ensure that there is as full as a geographic spread as possible we would welcome bids from partnerships or consortia.
The purpose of the funding is to provide support to a vitally important sector doing excellent work with refugee women. The Home Office is providing the grant funding to deliver support to refugee women, across the UK, to meet needs associated with the Covid-19 restrictions and the Covid-19 recovery. We expect the focus of support to be largely on addressing digital poverty but will consider suggestions for other support where bidders are able to demonstrate that these are high priority.
Grants will be awarded to non-statutory sector organisations working nationally to provide services that help and support refugee women during the Covid-19 pandemic.
While there is no cap on the amount of funding an organisation can bid for, up to the maximum of the funding of £600,000, we may award to one or more organisations. Therefore, all bids will need to be scalable: to ensure diversity of funding, please be aware that we may have to scale back top scoring bids.

Registration Information:
The Home Office manages its competitions using it's own e-Sourcing portal. This competition (event) will be administered using the Home Office (HO) Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal.
In order to bid for funding, bidders will first need to register on the portal via the following link:
https://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html
Bidders should be approved for registration within 24 hours
of registering on the system.
After clicking on the e-Sourcing portal link, you will gain access to the home page. On the left-hand side of this page, just below the login boxes, there is an option to register.
To register as a supplier you will need to provide information including;
• the full legal name of your organisation
• your DUNS number - a unique nine-digit number
provided to organisations free of charge by Dun &
Bradstreet
• profile information describing your organisation
and the size of your business.
If you do not have a DUNS number, please contact D&B UK directly on 0870 243 2344 (option 3), or online at http://www.dnb.co.uk/duns-form.asp.
Once registered as a supplier on the portal, please email confirmation requesting access to the event, including the text "Support for Refugee Women" in the title, to: RASIcommercialgrantsteam@homeoffice.gov.uk.
You will then be given access to the event which will include all the documentation you will need in order to bid.
*Please note that from this point all further communications including the submission of your online bid will be managed via the portal.
It is imperative you test your portal connection and become familiar with how to submit your bid well in advance of the deadline date. It is conceivable that because the portal operates on the web, internet traffic may affect performance of the portal and this cannot be cited as reason to seek an extension to the submission deadline date.
If you have any difficulties registering on the system you should contact the Supplier e-Sourcing Helpdesk:
customersupport@jaggaer.com
The HO Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal is independent of other e-Sourcing portals. Therefore, if you have registered on the Crown Commercial Service Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal, you will also need to register on the HO Jaggaer e-Sourcing portal.
Please note that bids will only be accepted via the HO e-Sourcing portal. Any bids received outside of this system will not be considered by the Authority.
