Description

The key operational objectives of the contract will be:

o To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation, ACOPs, guidance and technical documents, such as SFG20, CIBSE and other best practice guidance and manufacturers requirements and all UCA's policies and procedures through effective service controls and audit processes
o To provide a high performing, cost effective building maintenance function that enables and supports UCA's activities through the delivery of fully-functioning, comfortable, high quality, safe environments.
o To provide a service which supports and sustains a safe working environment, with no risk to UCA's equipment, business and service delivery operations, business continuity, brand, or reputation.
o To develop and implement policies and procedures for operating the services in an efficient and cost-effective manner, maximising productivity, integration, and consistency across all aspects of service delivery.
o To allow flexibility in both management structures and in the delivery of the services to meet evolving priorities during the life of the contract. To maximise asset life expectancy and performance and minimise unnecessary cost/use/energy consumption, including through intelligent use of IT, and management information systems.
o To take a proactive and imaginative approach, continually seeking the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions to problems and issues
o Contribute positively and proactively to UCA's sustainability and added social value objectives.
