Description

South Tyneside Council sought to appoint a borehole design specialist to design a mine water abstraction scheme (for heat recovery process) to source a ground source heat pump operation in a district heat network infrastructure. The works comprises the review of mining and mine water situation, borehole target options study and assessment, outline specification for boreholes and hydrogeological testing, assisting of the drilling contract procurement and drilling process, and liaison with regulator for permits application and reports.
