Description
Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is a Waste Collection Authority in Derbyshire with around 34154 households (March 2019). The Council is seeking to procure the new Organic (Food and Garden Waste) Processing contract from 1 August 2020 for an initial term of 2 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 year period. The contract shall include the supply of a delivery point and/or a processing facility where compostable waste (including food waste) collected by the Council's collection contractor can be delivered, the composting of compostable waste to produce a reusable product in accordance with applicable regulations and best practice and to either sell or otherwise utilise the resultant product such that there is a benefit to agriculture.
