Description

Extension is required to support the media team during the response to COVID-19, specifically on broadcast, co-ordinating national and regional. Additional resource is still required as the team no longer have pro-bono support and there are a number of vacancies.

The media team continue to experience a significant increase in high profile activity as Covid-19 continues to dominate the news, both online, paper and broadcast. At the start of the incident a substantial amount of support was offered pro bono from external organisations, but this has now ended. This coupled with a both vacancies and long term sickness has impacted on the media team's ability to meet continuing high demand from national and international media.
