Description

T Levels are being delivered from September 2020 in the following areas:
? - digital production, design and development (digital route)
? - design, surveying and planning (construction route)
? - education (education and childcare route)
The ETF are keen to ensure suitable support is available to unqualified teachers who will be delivering T Levels. This Invitation to Tender (ITT) seeks to appoint a tenderer to deliver the provision of face to face training through England, providing a 20 hour introductory course in technical teaching. The course will be offered 5 times in each of ETF's 3 T Level Knowledge Hubs regions, totalling 15 programmes overall.
It is envisaged that a distance support service (to be commissioned separately) will run alongside this provision, so anyone who has problems once away from the training room can be supported. This implies a degree of working together of the two services: the support team will need to know of any issues encountered in the classroom, and similarly will feed back any reports of difficulty.
