Description

The International Centre for Engineering and Physical Science (ICEPS), formerly North East Quarter (NEQ), comprises a new centre for academic delivery which co-locates a number of existing schools within the University of Leeds. The project is now at the end of RIBA Work Stage 3+, Developed Design. The new facility will include a variety of teaching and research spaces including microscopy, imaging, clean rooms and other spaces with vibration sensitive equipment.
Vibration criteria and a strategy for each of these spaces is therefore needed to mitigate vibration risks to the project.
