Description
The Authority is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of specialist equipment for installation in Service Users homes, including servicing and repairs. The Authority may request the Supplier to remove, re-install and/or repair equipment that is out of warranty as additional services. This will cover all tenure types within the Wakefield district and could be funded directly through the Authority or by a DFG available to a Service User.
The framework will consist of the specialist equipment lots:
Lot 1 Stairlifts (straight and curved)
Lot 2 Ceiling Track Hoists
Lot 3 Steplifts (up to 1 metre in travel and up to 2 metres in travel
Lot 4 Through Floor Lifts (hydraulic, traction and side hung).
Lot 5 Service & Maintenance of hoists out of manufacturer's warranty
Lot 6 Service & Maintenance of lifts out of manufacturer's warranty
It is anticipated that one Supplier will be awarded to each Lot however Suppliers can bid for one or more Lots.
The framework will commence on 1st April 2021and will be let for a three year period. The Authority will have the option (at its sole discretion) to extend the contract for a fourth year which will be subject to satisfactory performance.
The Prices will be fixed for the initial 3 year term and any extension.
