Description

Dorothy Hyman Sports Stadium is owned by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council and operated by Barnsley Premier Leisure.
The site is a multi sports site which includes athletics track and spectator stand, grass and AGP pitches, Fitness suite, squash courts and sports hall. The athletics track is used to host regional and national events, hosts athletics clubs for both training and competitions and used by the general public. The existing track now is worn and in need of replacement. The site has experienced bank slippage at the far end of the track with visible movement causing some damage. This contract is to rectify and stabilise the bank movement, following remediation works the successful contractor will then replace the athletics track with a fit for purpose surface. The contract must be completed by September 2021.
