Description

HEE is looking to purchase radiography workforce expertise to drive and deliver a project that thoroughly explores the issues around radiography supply, to build sector understanding and appreciation of the developing routes into the radiography professions and to constructively challenge the status quo - driving for 21st century solutions. The overall aim is to increase supply of those entering the profession utilising the apprenticeship route.
In line with the funding available, bids are invited to a maximum of £49,999 to run this project between October 2019 and March 2020.
HEE is looking for an expert provider who can demonstrate experience in the following: -
1.14.1 Subject specialist knowledge of the radiography professions;
1.14.2 Ability to speak with authority on behalf of the radiography professions;
1.14.3 Expertise in the education and training of the radiography professions;
1.14.4 Expertise in health and social care apprenticeship models;
1.14.5 Existing links to the Office for Students Strategic Interventions in Health Education Disciplines (SIHED - supporting small specialist health careers);
1.14.6 Evidence of a longstanding, proven track record of radiography workforce projects/policy outputs delivered to deadline, budget and quality;
1.14.7 Ability to command confidence, respect and influence across the system at a strategic and operational level;
1.14.8 Evidence of successfully delivering high risk, contentious projects;
1.14.9 Experience of working with the Department of Health and Social Care, Governmental Arm's Length Bodies, Professional Bodies, Regulators, Council of Deans for Health, Office for Students, Higher Education Sector, employers and the voluntary sector.
