Description
The University is seeking to establish a contract for the supply of a Digital Register System (DRS). The scope of this contract includes a cloud-hosted SaaS solution to facilitate the recording and monitoring of Student's attendance. From the user's perspective, this will take the form of an app they will be invited to install on their own personal smart device (phone, tablet etc) or a browser-based application. The system is expected to be an off-the-shelf product, with a proven track record having been 'tried and tested' in UK HE institutions, and be fully functional and robust/reliable.
Procurement is expected to be concluded by the end of 2020. A period of design, implementation and testing/debugging will take place in Q1/Q2 2021. The Contractor is expected to actively support this activity. Trialling with a suitable cohort of students will take place in Q2/Q3 2021, with the solution expected to be rolled out and fully live for all students across all campuses by the start of the 2021/22 academic year.
The term of the Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years commencing December 2020 with an optional extension of up to an additional 24 months.
The Qualification section will be assessed on a pass/fail basis in accordance with the standard qualification questions implemented by the Crown Commercial Services (CCS)/Cabinet Office, in addition to Project Specific questions.
