Description
Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust requirements for the Air Handling Unit (AHU) Filter serving to include pre filter, secondary filter and replacement of belts under a set regime for critical / non-critical AHU.
Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust has 50 AHU spread across a 45 acre site these units vary from 2 years old to 35 years old. To ensure the highest quality of conditioned air is provided by the plant available to patients and staff alike and to comply with HTM03-01 requirements. Filters are changed four times a year on the schedule stated later in this document.
The successful contractor will be expected to work closely with the client during this transitional period to ensure that whilst every systems may not be fully compliant in all respects with current standards, performance is maintained within acceptable tolerances such that the systems are providing environmental conditions that are considered safe for both patients and staff.

The successful applicant will be required to deliver services in accordance with all attached documents and the contract to be placed. The contract will be subject to Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust requirements and satisfactory performance through continuous monitoring and performance review. During the contract life, the successful applicants will need to achieve continuous improvement. Failure to do so may result in the contract being terminated.
The entire tendering process must be carried out through the Proactis system.
