Description

The requirement is for the provision of a Women's Development programme, targeted primarily towards a diverse female audience. The programme will be delivered to a total of 12 women from the London NHS workforce who are ready to make progress in their careers. Facilitators will have to demonstrate evidence of lived experience of being an ethnic minority within the NHS workforce and of issues relating to women. Provider will have to have expert knowledge of the health and social care system.

The programme will cover issues pertinent to the career development of ethnic minority women within the NHS. Content will cover career trajectory, career planning, understanding heritage, understanding self and projection, raising self-awareness. Opportunities for structured networking and learning outside of the core curriculum will also required.

Sustainability of learning and development within employing organisation will be essential.

Budget is likely to be capped at £20,000 and the programme will be delivered over a 12 week period September to December 2022
