Ron Davis Centre, Ballot Street, Smethwick, B66 3HH:- 7 Hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 3.00pm to 4.30pm and Friday 3.00pm to 4.00pm

To undertake the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, meeting all COVID-19 cleaning requirements at three locations in Sandwell.

Duties will include:-

o Routine cleaning of premises and furnishings in all room types, to include vacuuming, damp dusting, mopping, polishing, sanitising, cleaning communal areas and emptying of litter bins.
o To clean sanitary areas, including toilets and washrooms.
o To clean public areas within buildings, e.g. receptions, classrooms, corridors etc.
o To carry out all duties following COVID-19 compliance regulations.
o To access a computer to send emails.
o To work at all times under the direction of the centre manager(s).

You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to:
o Undertake duties with regards to safe methods of work. Including knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH Regulations.
o Work as part of a team or on your own as required.
o Work with changing priorities and uncertainty.

The post holders must possess:
o A basic knowledge of cleaning techniques.

This role may require you to travel across the Borough of Sandwell. If so, a driving licence check, including proof of business insurance and MOT will be required.
A basic DBS check is required for this role.
