Description
Kirklees is committed to delivering the Government's Troubled Families Programme, known locally as "Stronger Families". Delivery of the programme relies on local partnership working with a wide range of agencies; government departments; and local voluntary and community sector providers to deliver service transformation across the Early Support System. The current Troubled Families Programme was intended to be a 5-year programme, with a clear agenda to mainstream the approach to whole family working, but this has been extended beyond 2020, on an annual basis and look set to conclude on 31st March 2022.\r
Five SLA's have been entered into for the period 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022, with three Council Departments and two external partner agencies.
