Description
West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (WECCG) and its system partners across West Essex is an Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) - referred to as the 'West Essex system' - have been working with BearingPoint (Prederi) to develop a business case for a transfer of care patient tracking IT solution, including system-wide health & care capacity and patient flow. The business case was approved in October 2019 by the Local Delivery Board and it was agreed to procure a comprehensive IT solution to meet their system-wide patient flow and capacity management needs.
The IT solution needs to enable the effective and efficient transfer of care patient tracking and articulate system capacity and blockages to help deliver the best patient care. It is also expected to provide a clear system-wide understanding of the following core areas:
- System-wide capacity and pressure points (acute and intermediate care pathways)
- Patient flow and transfers of care (bedded and non-bedded)
- End to end system-wide patient journey tracking
- System-wide escalation and reporting
- Predicting capacity to inform decision-making and commissioning (analytics)
The purpose of this phase of work is to undertake market research and market engagement, interested providers are invited to demonstrate their IT solutions to support the system to understand the availability and capabilities of IT solutions in the market. This will support the West Essex system to visualise how these can be applied and support the system to inform its specification requirements ahead of any formal procurement process.
Slots for IT solution demonstrations will take place over a series of days and interested providers will be allocated a slot on either Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd or Friday 24th April 2020. The venue for demonstrations will be West Essex CCG, St Margaret's Hospital, The Plain, Epping, Essex, CM16 6TN.
Interested providers are asked to register on the Attain Bravo E-Procurement Portal, where further information can be found:
https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login
Interested providers must complete and return the registration form by no later than 5pm on Friday 20th March 2020.
Confirmation of your allocated time / date will be sent to you following the deadline. This will be up to an hour and a half, dependent on the level of interest received. All interested providers will have the same time in which to present their demos.
