Description
Section 43 of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 transferred the duty to arrange Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA) services to local authorities. Independent Mental Health Advocates (IMHA's) are specialist advocates who are trained specifically to work within the framework of the Mental Health Act 1983 Amendment 2007 to meet the needs of "qualifying patients". The Provider shall deliver a minimum of 1,700 hours per annum
