Description
This contract is for the Land of Oak and Iron Lintz Lane Access Improvement Works.
The primary objective of the contract is track surfacing, drainage works and related access improvement works.
The Land of Oak & Iron Landscape Partnership aims to conserve, enhance and celebrate the natural, industrial and cultural heritage of the Derwent Valley including Consett, Blaydon and Prudhoe. It is led by Groundwork NE & Cumbria, funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund and runs for four years until December 2019
The expected start date for the proposed contract is 16th July 2018 with an anticipated end date of 30th November 2018 for the main works and 30th November 2019 for final completion including the maintenance visits.
