Description

The Midlands Net Zero Hub, with support from its accountable body Nottingham City Council is seeking quotes from sufficiently experienced and qualified suppliers to assist with the benchmarking of local authorities' climate action in the Midlands.

This piece of work will directly support the engagement objective for the Local Net Zero Hubs from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero: "Understanding what local councils are doing to meet their net zero commitments", by giving the Hubs a greater understanding of where the local authorities view themselves and giving information-rich quantitative data into their aims and ambitions.

The following outputs will be required:
o Co-creation of benchmarking questionnaire to cover a range of topics relating to local authority delivery of net zero.
o Delivery of online benchmarking platform which allows local authorities to sign up and record their responses to online benchmarking questions.
o Stakeholder engagement to support local authorities through benchmarking process via 121 calls and onboarding webinar.
o Creation of an individual report for each local authority and overarching report for the Midlands.
o Follow up roadshow of engagement events to share learnings from benchmarking process to public sector organisations.
