Description

2.1 The Authority requires delivery of a robust telephony service for voice, email, data transfer, web browsing, digital media and SMS functionality for both national (Afghanistan) and international coverage for approximately 400 sim cards and landline coverage across the site. Numbers are approximate as headcount of personnel changes frequently. The Contractor will need to operate flexibly to be able to ramp up and scale down provision when required.

2.2 Travel outside of Afghanistan is mainly, though not solely, to the United Kingdom. Other travel locations can include countries throughout the rest of the world.

2.3 The requirement for nominated mobile users differs; some need only voice and SMS messaging capability whilst others need email and data capability.
