Description

As part of the scope of this work the education provider will be required to provide training in line with a curriculum in order to deliver training in line with local and national identified workforce and service needs and ensure training provision is responsive to the workforce development and training needs of individual services.

Education providers should demonstrate planning, development, and quality assured delivery of training, and the ability to deliver the training programme from as soon as the contract is awarded, commencing as soon as possible within the 2021/22 financial year.
The funding allocated will allow the provider to:
• deliver a programme of education to hospital staff working in acute trusts across the country designed to help increase the provision of training for hospital staff working with CYP who present in acute settings with mental health needs
• Providing training in order to help develop a more robust infrastructure and leadership in crisis teams and support staff wellbeing.
• allow for protected time for project leads from each acute hospital site who may be working with linked CYP MH (CAMHS) and Community CYP eating disorder, and learning disability and autism teams to work together to develop the project locally
