Description

Stop Smoking Services (CO05960).

Provide a comprehensive Hampshire Stop Smoking Service which will reduce the prevalence of tobacco use and its associated health inequalities

Hampshire County Council invites capable providers to tender for the provision of Stop Smoking Service.

The deadline to submit your Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is 6 March 2016.

The deadline to submit your Information to Tender (ITT) is 16 May 2016.

A Provider Briefing Event will be held on 24 February 2016.

Anticipated contract start date is 1 October 2016. Contract term is for three years with options to extend for a period or periods not exceeding two years offering a potential contract term of 5 years in total.

Anticipated contract values over the potential maximum contract term is £11,500,000 (£2.3m per annum).

Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Hampshire/aspx/Hampshire County Council will be re-procuring Tobacco Control services. The contract values for these services are in the range of £10,000,000 to £15,000,000 for a potential 5 year term.

Prior to starting the procurement, the Council is inviting organisations who have an interest in, and experience of, delivering such services to improve the public's health, to a market engagement event to consider :-

• what innovative methods of service delivery could be considered e.g. web-based, groups and workplace settings
• what potential providers see as areas of risk
• what (if anything) would stop interested parties applying for this business opportunity, prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited.

This is an opportunity to influence and shape the future delivery of the service
