Description

The Purchaser (LCC) is inviting tenders on the terms set out in the ITT for the supply and distribution of Grocery and Frozen Food products to approximately 590 educational and non-educational establishments and Confectionery and Soft Drink products to approximately 100 educational and non-educational establishments throughout the county.
Annual Contract Value

Lot 1 Groceries - Between £2,000,000 & £3,000,000.

Lot 2: Frozen Food - Between £2,000,000 & £3,000,000

Lot 3: Confectionery & Soft Drinks Between £250,000 & £500,000

Initial Total Contract Value

Lot 1 Groceries - Between £4,000,000 & 6,000,000.

Lot 2: Frozen Food - Between £4,000,000 & £6,000,000

Lot 3: Confectionery & Soft Drinks Between £500,000 & £1,000,000

The tender information day will be taking place on the 2nd February 2017 (9:45am) at: East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce (Reception 2), Red Rose Court, Clayton Business Park, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 5JR.

Lots 1 and 2 are expected to commence in October 2017 and expire in September 2019 and Lot 3 to commence in November 2017 and expire September 2019 however the Council may extend the contracts by any number of defined periods provided always that the total maximum duration of the contract does not exceed four years, subject to the agreement of both parties and contractual performance.
