Description
Torbay Pharmaceuticals have been manufacturing pharmaceuticals for over 35 years and is wholly owned by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. They are currently the largest NHS pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in the UK and manufactures unlicensed and licensed essential pharmaceuticals and CE Marked Medical Devices across a wide range of therapeutic areas. Annual Turnover is circa £20m pa and all profits are returned to the NHS Trust. The relocation and amalgamation of all sites to a single new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility is now complete: With this move, Torbay Pharmaceuticals will be positioned to continue to meet the market demand, capitalise on business partnerships and opportunities, whilst supporting the NHS and other customers. Following a comprehensive strategic review the strategy for the organisation has been defined and agreed implementation will commence early 2018 Torbay Pharmaceuticals (TP) are seeking to appoint a legal specialist in the field of Pharmaceuticals. TP are currently looking for specialist legal and commercial advise in regards to both domestic and international pharmaceuticals. In 2017 Torbay Pharmaceuticals completed a strategy program that has been signed off by the TP and the Trust board. TP's 5 year target is to double the business turnover. The growth will come from three main areas: - Export of existing products. - Contract manufacturing both in the UK and globally. - Move towards new product presentations such as prefilled syringes. Whilst TP have the sales, marketing and manufacturing expertise we require legal support to review and/or create standard contracts that can be used as we onboard new clients. Our current areas of focus are the Commonwealth and the Middle East, although this may expand over time.
