Description

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of an APC Counsellor to support employees on their path to become a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor within the Investment and Valuation division of the Council.
The contract will be for a period of 1 year and is expected to commence on Thursday 18th January 2024.

The programme requires a RICS qualified counsellor to ensure APC candidates receive the necessary support required to meet the high standards of professionalism required to become a Chartered Surveyor. All APC candidates must be allocated an APC counsellor before they can enrol for the APC with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The counsellor will provide guidance on appropriate APC pathways, identify training and competency gaps, formally sign off submission documents whilst working within the RICS best practises.

There are currently five employees on the APC training programme. However, it is anticipated during the contract period that there may be more employees undertaking this programme. The Council makes no guarantee of the volume of work that will be placed under this contract.
