Description
Crawley Borough Council and Horsham District Council (the Councils) invite tenders for the provision of tree maintenance and associated services, including inspections This tender process is split into two separate Lots by Council, each with differing requirements and contract lengths. Bidders may submit a tender for one or both Lots. Full details of the scope are included within the tender documents.
Lot A: Crawley Borough Council - Provision of tree maintenance services within the Crawley Borough, including planned maintenance as well as remedial and reactive work. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 1st April 2022 at 00:00 hours. The Contract will be awarded for a period of 5 years until 31st March 2027.
Lot B: Provision of tree maintenance services within the Horsham District as well as remedial and reactive work. Horsham District Council also requires tree inspection services. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 1st April 2022 at 00:00 hours. The Contract will be awarded for a period of 6 years and 10 months until 31st January 2029, with an option to extend for a further period/s of up to 7 years subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council.
The Councils are procuring this contract following the Open Procedure under the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council's Procurement Code. Each Council will be awarding one Contract to the winning bidder for their Lot to provide all services detailed in the Specification, including any additional requirements relevant to their Lot. Each Council will enter into separate contracts and contract management arrangements with the winning bidder(s).
