Description
Fenland District Council invites suitably qualified (RIBA) service providers to submit a multi-disciplinary fee proposal for the design and delivery of high quality light industrial units at South Fens Enterprise Park, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.
Services required are:
Architect (incorporating principle designer).
Structural and Civil Engineering design services
Mechanical and Electrical design services
Quantity Surveying Services.
Services to be provided from RIBA stages 1 to 7 subject to gateway reviews, feasibility and planning permission. If successful the winning bidder would continue to work with Fenland District Council to tender for a build contractor. Project build value is circa £1.25 to £1.75M.
To apply for the tender document you must be based or established in Cambridgeshire. This is a reserved procurement as per Procurement Policy Note 11/20 for Cambridgeshire to support local companies especially in the North Cambridgeshire Area, there is adequate competition for what is a relatively low procurement for a small local authority.
