Description

Tenders are invited from interested parties for the Design and Build of the Huxley Building CL3 Schedule 5 Laboratory. The Contract covers all of the works and services required as detailed in the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

The estimated total value of the Contract for the Design and Build of the Huxley Building CL3 Schedule 5 Laboratory is £350,000 excluding VAT. The project is part-funded by 'The Royal Society Wolfson Laboratory Refurbishment Scheme'.

The contract covers two options, these being:

Option 1: All rooms, complete fit-out and servicing.

Option 2: All rooms but with minimal fit-out only to Leishmania and Imaging labs which will require addition of new floor and black-out blinds only.

The requirements specification, room data sheets and the drawings for each option are detailed in the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

The decision as to which option will be selected will be down to the sole discretion of the University.

It is essential that Tenderers visit the University campus prior to submitting their tender. An individual guided site visit will be arranged with each Tenderer during the period 13th August 2018 to 24th August 2018. Further details regarding the site visits will be sent to Tenderers in the tender period.
