This is a Prior Information Notice for a UK Research and Innovation requirement. The UKRI Board are committed to collecting evidence to understand the impacts of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) Data to Future Flight Challenge. Bids are invited for an evaluation of the Programme to gain insight into the outcomes and impact of the programme.
The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) is part of the Government's Industrial Strategy, the long-term plan to raise productivity and earning power in the UK. The fund is a core pillar in the government's commitment to increase funding in research and development by £4.7 billion over 4 years to strengthen UK science and business. It is focussed on investing in the world-leading research base and highly-innovative businesses to address the biggest industrial and societal challenges today. The route to market will be CCS Research Marketplace DPS. A market engagement event will be held on Monday, 15th June 2020 between 10:00 - 11:00, via Zoom. This will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the project and the procurement process. Providers wishing to attend need to RSVP by 15:00, Thursday, 11th June 2020 - stating their name, title, email. This information should be sent to the following email address: Research@uksbs.co.uk. Please ensure that the subject heading for the email is as follows: 'CR20062 - Future Flight Challenge Evaluation Framework and Baseline'. It is anticipated that the tender documentation will be released in Late June/ Early July 2020.
