As a research led university Durham has a strategic
need for improved Research Management Information
that will allow the University to track and monitor
research activity linked to individuals, groups ,
departments, institutes, faculties and REF UoAs. It will
allow the University to quantify and evaluate its overall
research performance in a comprehensive and
detailed way which has not previously been possible
and which will be vital in positioning ourselves in an
increasingly competitive environment and assess our
performance against our competitors.
