Description

The works consist of the removal, repainting, and reinstallation of the P2 parapets to the two designated sites. The parapets are to be safely dismantled and transported to the Contractors off-site store/depot, where the steel works are to be removed of all existing protective paint coatings via abrasive blast cleaning, surface preparation: Grit blast to SA2 1/2 BS EN ISO 8501-1 (2007), with required surface profile to: Medium (G) BS EN 8503-1, followed by the application of all specified coatings. (See drawing no.'s 00-PPKJ-014 & 00-PPYF-011). The works will also include the removal and disposal of the existing wire mesh to 0800 Kenyon Way Junction Subway and the addition of new stainless steel wire mesh on completion of the painting works.

The Contractor to provide all necessary transport, tools, access equipment, appropriate welfare, water disposal and clearance on completion in order to carry out the works effectively
