Description
The contract comprises the survey, procurement, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, setting to work and demonstrations of the emergency lighting repair as detailed within the Specification and noted on the drawings.

The Contractor shall also refer to all drawings and information provided with the tender enquiry, to ensure that his quotation and ultimately the emergency lighting installation, complies with all relevant drawings and information current at that time.
The Contractor shall visit site to ascertain the nature and extent of the existing building and mechanical and electrical services. No claim whatsoever, shall be entertained on the basis of the Contractor failing to visit site.
A site visit has been arranged 1pm on Thursday 18th April 2019.
The Contractor shall allow to co-ordinate the positions of equipment to be supplied and fixed as part of the new emergency lighting installation with the existing mechanical and electrical services, structure and equipment.
The Contractor shall note that the University may award some or all of the buildings, so the Contractor's tender should take this into account i.e. the price for each building should be fully inclusive
The Client for the project has allowed 2 weeks between appointment of the Contractor and earliest start on site date.
It is not anticipated that an F10 notification will be required for this project as the number of workers and 500-person day thresholds are unlikely to be exceeded.
The tender is to be returned with a full detailed programme showing start and completion dates.
The contractor shall ensure that the programme details how they will achieve the works in full, based on a start on site date of 3rd June 2019 and a completion on site date of 15th July 2019
