Description
Dudley MBC has approved the delivery of a service to provide the design, installation, removal and recycling,together with the maintenance, servicing and repairs of domestic lifts and associated builders work withincouncil owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing association owned properties located throughout the Borough. Domestic lifts are defined as being those that are installed within a domestic residence and shall include, but not limited to straight track stair lifts, curved track stair lifts, seated vertical through floors lifts, wheelchair vertical through floor lifts, external step lifts and external platform lifts.

This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). Following registration, an e-mailwill be sent to you advising of your user ID along with a reminder of your e-mail address and password. Detailsof the project are located under the All Opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest andreceive the documentation. The Council expressly reserves the right:
i) Not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice;

iv) To award contract(s) in stages and in no circumstances will the Council be liable for any costs incurred bycandidates.
Tenderers must note that total potential estimated value of the contract is up to £7.5M over 60 months,The current approved budgets for this contract indicates current annual requirements of around £1M perannum, however the contract is divided into Lots, but the value of each Lot is dependent upon specific userrequirements and is therefore only indicative.
The service is also subject to public sector budget allocations and Local and central government policy.Therefore, the Lot Total contract Values have been set at a total level above current service requirements to thatso far as reasonable and practical that the contract must meet any future potential demand. Due to contractorcapacity and or inability to deliver, the authority reserve the right to use any other Lots to deliver other contractor Lot requirements.
